Children Hospital Quetta was conceived with an idea that the prevailing health care facilities are unable to cope with the number of patients. Medical services are particularly poor for persons under 16 years of age, which represent 48.5% of the total population of Balochistan. The present health care facilities did not cater the need of this province.

As a primary level health institution Children Hospital serves the entire population of Quetta & as a reference level institution, the hospital has to serve the entire population of the province and we have attained this status within shortest possible time
